Saint Martin en Vercors is a beautiful village of 300 inhabitants, situated right at the heart of the Vercors massif. It lies 45km south of Grenoble and 60km north of Valence. Nestled in the valley between St Julien and St Martin at an altitude of 750m, the climate is milder than in any other part of the Vercors.

The main activity is agriculture, even though it has a long tradition of welcoming tourists. Having emerged from the period of rural exodus, our village has learned to adapt and rebound by exploiting its principal assets: the beauty of its scenery, the well-preserved state of its countryside and the dynamism of its inhabitants.
